LUMA opened in McAllen with a single idea — that one room could do both. A spot for the long dinner and the slow drink midweek, and the spot when the lights drop, the DJ takes over, and the weekend turns up.
The Story
Why LUMA.
We grew up between two coasts — eating and drinking in cities that took their bars as seriously as their kitchens. McAllen has the appetite. It needed the room.
LUMA is what we wanted to find here, and didn't. A bar where the cocktail list isn't an afterthought. A kitchen that holds its own against the bar. And a room that knows when to whisper and when to turn up — quiet enough for the long Tuesday dinner, loud enough for the Saturday when the DJ's on.
This is for date nights and after-work drinks. For the table that wants to talk all night, and the table that wants to pop a bottle. For private events with custom themed cocktails built for your night. Whatever shape the evening takes, we built the room for it.

Birthdays, brand activations, rehearsal dinners, team nights — we design custom themed cocktails for your event and run partial buyouts of the lounge or take over the full room.

Bar and lounge seating. Walk-ins welcome — reservations recommended Thursday through Saturday.
